Danielle Porto Parra, Chief Brand Officer of McAlister’s Deli, is responsible for brand management & growth, business strategy, brand marketing and franchise & company operations. Danielle joined GoTo Foods in 2020, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in marketing, operations, product development, digital and technology. Prior to GoTo Foods she served as Chief Marketing Officer & SVP Ecommerce for Pep Boys, Aamco & Precision Tune, a franchise business.
Danielle was promoted to McAlister’s Deli Chief Brand Officer in January 2025. Prior to that she served as SVP, Marketing for GoTo Foods where she led integrated marketing strategy and execution, paid media, culinary, creative and catering across the portfolio of seven iconic brands. Danielle’s success at GoTo Foods stems from driving results for franchisees by leveraging the power of scale across the portfolio to modernize marketing, deliver outsized value to the brands, grow new channels of revenue and deliver differentiated culinary innovation.
Danielle began her career in restaurants, working front and back of the house for Red Lobster and opening and training at Logan’s Roadhouse. Customer experience, food and beverage and franchising continued as themes throughout her career, as she has helped build and grow businesses by combining strategy and operational excellence to improve profitability and create sustainable differentiation. Throughout her professional journey, Danielle held leadership positions at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, Petco, Teradata (technology) and as Chief Marketing & Digital Officer at Icahn Automotive and Build.com/Ferguson.
Danielle holds a business degree and an advertising degree from the University of Georgia and is an active member of the Resource Development & Marketing Board Committee for the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta. She enjoys sports & hiking, hosting large gatherings with family & friends, and lives in Atlanta with her husband and their children.
